Durability & Clarity
ClearShield features a Lexan® polycarbonate. Lexan provides excellent clarity and visibility through a distortion free, ultra-clear lens. It boasts an impact strength of 250 times greater than glass and 30 times greater than acrylic, all while remaining lightweight.

The shield is ANSI Z87.1 (D3) certified for splash and spills.
Superior Fit
ClearShield has a lightweight design that boasts a close fit brim with a foam head pad and a one size fits all elastic strap for extended wear periods. It features a Fog Free design along with a 2.5” enclosed standoff brim that allows for air circulation and easily accommodates loupes. The brim also protects from microbes while reducing overhead light glare.

ClearShield is designed to withstand constant cleaning using regular methods (warm water and soap are recommended). Including a washable PVA foam head pad and latex free head strap. All materials can withstand the temperatures between 140°-158°F.
